Zhongpin Inc. (HOGS) has been moving in a narrow range since the open Monday, but has broken out higher in the last few minutes on increased volume. The stock is now up 0.54 at $15.14.

STEC Inc. (STEC) has been climbing for the majority of early trade Monday morning. The stock is now up 1.13 at $16.83.

Vical Inc. (VICL) announced Monday morning that an independent Safety Monitoring Board for its Phase 3 AIMM trial of Allovectin-7, in patients with metastatic melanoma, completed the trial’s third scheduled safety analysis and recommended that the trial continue per the protocol.

American International Group (AIG) has been climbing since the open of trade Monday. Shares are currently higher by 2.37 at $32.49.

American Science & Engineering (ASEI) gapped open higher Monday and is now up 4.53 at $76.23.

pSivida Corp. (PSDV) reported results from the Phase III FAME study of Iluvien Wednesday morning, for the treatment of Diabetic Macular Edema. The primary efficacy endpoint was met with statistical significance for both doses of Iluvien.
